Baha Village

About 4 kilometers east of Pura Taman Ayun, there is a traditional village called “Baha“. Most of the inhabitants of this village are farmers and laborers as penggarap / land owners, so they must be as a Krama / subak members, an organization that regulates the distribution of water for agricultural irrigation. Subak in the Village Society has a meeting hall subak called “Central subak Lepud”, which is used as a meeting place and the various ceremonies related to agriculture.

The uniqueness of others can be found in Baha Village is the Entrance to the home of each family with a uniform combination of traditional Balinese architecture buildings, so it can give an impression for tourists.  Village Temple in baha located in the southern area of this village decorated with ancient carvings are also very interesting objects to visit.
